Promoting physical activity amongst upper secondary school pupils on vocational programmes

A research programme has been conducted in connection with the development of initiatives to promote physical activity amongst pupils on vocational programmes at the upper secondary schools Virginska and Tulläng in Örebro. Örebro Sports Federation and the Sports Education Association SISU have conducted initiatives and collected data before, during and after the initiatives. The first phase included amongst other things a degree project of two future teachers in the school subject physical education and health. Through co-operation with the social science and medicine unit there are now data from four occasions. The analysis of this work is on-going.
