Collaborations for sustainable tourism development

Sustainably developing tourism is an important but challenging task, that often depends on well-functioning private-public partnerships. In this visiting scholars project, we compare how collaborations for sustainable tourism are conducted in Ukraine and Sweden, with a focus on the role of stakeholder involvement. The project also aims to contribute to cross-country knowledge exchange and learning between Ukrainian and Swedish businesses in the tourism industry.

The project is funded by the Knowledge Foundation under the call "Visiting academic scholars from Ukraine" and is conducted with the Centre for Environmental and Sustainability Social Science (CESSS) in collaboration with Human Geography at Örebro University and the Centre for Tourism and Leisure Research (CeTLeR) at Dalarna University.
