Challenges and opportunities of the sharing economy

Climate-neutral Örebro 2030 is a collaborative project with Örebro municipality as the leading party, with participation from academia, business, and civil society. The project aims to create a platform for collaboration for climate transformation in Örebro. This sub-project aims to contribute with knowledge about the sharing economy, and specifically how people in different social and geographical contexts perceive the sharing of resources. The research consists of literature studies, focus groups (group interviews) and citizen dialogues. The focus groups will shed light on how citizens in different geographical and social contexts view the possibilities and challenges to share resources (regarding consumption items, accommodation/energy, transport).
