"Better safe than sorry?" Identifying causes of overprotective parenting in a changing social world

This project is part of a larger international project on overprotective parenting with a specific focus on identifying causes for variations between parents. Parents of adolescents will answer questions on their parenting strategies at one time point in eight different European countries. Analyses will be made to compare prevalence of overprotection in the countries, as well as whether or not causes differ as a function of country.
