Web-based sentence repetition in children with hearing loss
About this project
Project information
Difficulties in sentence repetition is a core deficit of developmental language disorder (DLD). In the present study a web-based sentence repetition test was used to assess the language ability of schoolchildren with mild-to-severe sensorineural hearing loss (SNHL) who were experienced hearing aid (HA) users. The aim was to explore the children’s overall repetition performance. Correlations with audiological variables were calculated . Results were compared to the results of age matched children with dyslexia from the Moll et al. study (2015) who used the same sentences.
