Sustainability Reporting in the Hospitality Industry

A study of CSR policies and practices for independent hotel with focus on reporting, controlling and managing accordingly and more efficiently.

The purpose of the project is to analyse how CSR policies and practices are considered, implemented and reported by independent and affiliated hotels in order to support and enhance CSR within this particular segment of the hospitality industry. The project will include a review of current practices and methods for reporting and controlling CSR with the intention of presenting new standard tailored to the characteristics and needs of the hotel industry. The link between CSR practices and the financial performance of hotels will be explored throughout the different stages of the project.
