In this project generative design methodology for additive manufacturing (AM) is developed by using topology optimization, machine learning and metamodel-based design optimization. The goal of the project is to develop a new design optimization platform that utilize the design freedom of AM and simultaneously includes manufacturing constraint as well as variations in geometry and material properties from the AM process. The project is financed by Örebro University.
