Translation and evaluation of test-retest reliability of the Weekly Calendar Planning Activity (WCPA)

This project includes the Swedish translation and psychometric evaluation of the Weekly Calendar Planning Activity (WCPA). The WCPA is a test of executive functions in a planning activity and was developed by Dr. Joan Toglia at Mercy College, NY, USA. It was recently translated into Swedish as a research version. Administration of the test involves that the individual is given a number of activities, fixed or flexible, that are to be planned into an empty week calendar. While doing this, a number of rules has to be followed and the activity is timed. The number of strategies used is observed during the activity.

The test-retest reliability of the WCPA is evaluated in this project by where each participant has conducted the test at three occasions with two weeks interval. Participants in the project are persons with mental or neurodevelopmental disorders or intellectual disability. A new WCPA manual was recently published in English and this is currently being translated in collaboration with the Swedish Association of Occupational Therapists.
