Statistical Disclosure Control (SDC) is an area within survey sampling. Before official statistics can be published, SDC has to be done in order to judge if it might be possible to disclose individual values from the statistics that will be published and if so actions has to be taken to reduce the risk of disclosure. Methods for doing this is developed and widely used when estimating totals for survey variables that can only take positive values. Measures of risk for estimates of change are not developed to the same extent, neither measures of risk when estimating totals and where the study variable also can be negative. In this project measures for these two cases will be developed.
