Proteome signatures in IBD

In cooperation with SciLifeLab Stockholm, Karolinska Institute, proteome profiles from blood of patients with Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) are analyzed to find discriminatory biosignatures – both for diagnostic and therapy-monitoring purposes as well as to deduce functional implications for the different subtypes of this disease. We apply sparse PLS modeling, with rigorous cross-validation to optimize and validate the use of small biosignatures.
