Growth barriers in small and medium sized enterprises

The purpose of this project is to study growth barriers in small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs). The analysis is, among other things, based on surveys that suggest that enterprises with 10-49 employees report growth barriers to a larger extent than smaller and larger enterprises.
Among other things, the project investigates if this result is robust when other variables than firm size is taken into account, for instance, the industry where the firm is active.
