Management control systems as a package ? configurations, interrelationships, and effectiveness of MCS

The research project is designed as a quantitative study based on a comprehensive standardized questionnaire that is being utilized when surveys about firms’ management control systems are accomplished in 11 countries. CEROC is the coordinator of one of four research teams in this international project. The aim for this team is to validate and further elaborate a conceptual framework where societal institutions are supposed to influence on firms business environment and control systems and where certain types of manage control systems are proposed to be effective in certain societies.
