Problems faced by the hearing impaired persons at their work place

Project information
People with severe hearing loss have lower employment rates than those without hearing loss. They have a greater degree of pension and is thus more widely outside the labor market. What conditions are like for the persons with disabilities who have a job, what obstacles and difficulties do they face and what are the barriers to social inclusion is studied in a comparative study between India and Sweden. Studies have shown that when it comes to disabilities related to communication is perceived barriers similar regardless of cultural and economic context. This study examines the differences and similarities of the target group in two different cultural contexts.
