Information Security Attitudes (ATTITUDE)
About this project
Project information
Both public and private organizations use a lot of information to get their businesses to function. Today's information-handling operations are also increasingly supported by information technology, and often takes place over the Internet. This entails increased risks for incidents such as hacking, fraud and distribution of malware.
The purpose of the ATTITUDE-project is to create a basic understanding of various attitudes towards information security and to investigate the relationship between organizational culture and information. The project is mainly based on a survey of 10 000 Swedish officials in public as well as in private sector.
The project is part of a larger research program on Information Security and organizational culture funded by MSB called Security Culture and Information Technology - SECURIT.
