In this research lab, we are researching interpretable and adaptive machine learning methods (i.e. models and algorithms). We focus on methods that represent calibrated uncertainties and have formal properties or guarantees. We want to develop learning systems that can transfer knowledge, learn continually with new data and dataset shift, and produce insight.
