Nutrition-Gut-Brain Interactions Research Centre (NGBI) was established as a multidisciplinary research- and innovation center during the spring of 2012. Our research aim is to gain unique competence on nutrition-microbe-gut-brain interactions, with a specific focus at common intestinal disorders such as irritable bowel syndrome, inflammatory bowel disease, and decreased gut function associated with ageing.
