Interlaboratory Assessment on Persistent Organic Pollutants 2018/2019

In 2018, 148 laboratories have registered to participate in the fourth round of the UNEP-coordinated “Bi-ennial Global Interlaboratory Assessment on Persistent Organic Pollutants”.  They have been supplied with test materials containing POPs at unknown concentrations.  The laboratories used their own methods for the analysis of POPs in test solutions of analytical standards, sediment, fish, human milk, human plasma, ambient air or water and reported their individual results back to Örebro University and VU University Amsterdam for assessment.
