Patient Advisory Board

The patient advisory board aims to recognise experiences of patients affected by Inflammatory Bowel Disease, it´s medication and associated challenges in daily life as mirrored in the NORDTREAT study. Since the launch of the study representatives of individual patients as well as from patient associations from all over the Nordic countries have meet on a regular basis. Patients have given their views on the study and discussed its ethical concerns. Further patients have offered their voices to media, all with the aim to disseminate the challenges of clinical IBD care and how the NORDTREAT study tries to take on these challenges.
