Webinar Series

Two series of webinars are being planned in the ambit of our project. The first series will discuss the institutional context of constitutional reasoning in the Nordic countries: the Nordic Supreme Courts, with a special focus on their composition, powers, workload and decision-making process. The second series will discuss the legal and political culture of the Nordic countries as context of constitutional reasoning, in particular the attitudes of legal scholars towards the supreme court(s), theories about legal and constitutional interpretation, other (non-judicial) bodies involved in constitutional reasoning and the international context.

The objectives of the webinar series are twofold: 1) internal to the project, ie. to hold discussions within the research team on a regular basis, 2) external, ie. to involve other scholars in our discussions and spread knowledge about Nordic constitutionalism and the project itself.
