Start-up grants for projects
X-HiDE is inviting researchers and PhD students to apply for “seed-money” for start-up translational projects in the next phase of X-HiDE. The grant aims to support pilot studies with the potential to grow into full-scale projects, promoting the characterization of disease mechanisms linked to one or more inflammatory phenotypes, while capturing key molecular and cellular processes that enable translation to model inflammatory diseases.
Grants will be funded with up to approximately 100 000 SEK to be used in 2025. The grants will not be affected by over-head costs. The grant is intended to cover running expenses related to experiments, analyses and attainment of specialized novel competence or methodology. Funds may be used for expenses related to salaries for technician performing the analyses, but are not intended to support salaries for involved researchers e.g. the PI.
Who can apply?
Researchers (PhD/MD) and PhD students, with the ambition of exploring molecular or cellular mechanisms involved in diseases or conditions, addressing inflammatory phenotypes, are eligible to apply.
