Clear Blue Morning – a concert in memory of the victims of the violent attack in Örebro
It has soon been a month since the violent attack in Örebro.
On Tuesday 4 March at 16:00, a concert will be held in Aula Nova at Örebro University in memory of the victims.
The concert is free, but registration is required.
On 4 March, a month has passed since ten people lost their lives at Campus Risbergska in Örebro. We will gather to honour them together and to look to the future while embracing the soothing power of music. The name of the concert, “Clear Blue Morning”, is taken from one of the pieces to be performed.
There will be performances by:
- The School of Music Chamber Choir
- Örebro University Choir
- Students and faculty from the School of Music
Opening remarks will be given by Vice-Chancellor Johan Schnürer.
For those that would like to meet before the event, coffee will be served in the Nova Lounge from 15:15. The concert starts at 16:00 and will last for about an hour.
Members of staff, students and others are welcome. The concert is free, but registration is required using this link no later than 3 March at 13:00.
