Ulrika Tisell is an interior designer and works at Facilities Management at Örebro University.

Her work as an interior designer entails planning and coordination of interior design projects in connection with the remodelling or upgrading of facilities and premises as well as in connection with new builds at the university. Any planning is made in consultation with the department/school involved and when it comes to student facilities, she is liaising with representatives of the student population.

Her responsibilities include purchasing furniture, fixtures and fittings, as well as overseeing the maintenance and renovation of existing furniture.

As the university’s art coordinator, Ulrika’s responsibilities include superintendence of any art installed on the premises. Art in public spaces needs to be registered, an inventory is to be kept and reports are to be submitted to Public Art Agency Sweden. She also processes and coordinates applications for new art as well as the review of existing art on campus.
