About Tove Solander
I am a temporary lecturer in gender studies since September 2024 and teach up to candidate level. I also teach sociology. Preciously I've taught gender studies at Stockholm University, Södertörn University and Uppsala University.
Im 2013 I completed my PhD in English literature within the gender research school at Umeå University. My research interests include opera and other music theatre, female masculinity, lesbian feminism and feminist theory. I'm also interested in crossings between gender theory and natural science, such as Elizabeth Grosz' feminist philosophy around evolutionary theory.
