About Rasmus Karlander
Rasmus Karlander is a PhD student in Sports Science at Örebro University since May 2022. He has a teaching degree from the Swedish School of Sport and Health Sciences (GIH) specialized in idrott och hälsa, biologi and naturkunskap. Rasmus Karlander has previously been high school teacher and lecturer (teacher educator) at GIH with a focus on health education.
Research
Rasmus' research interests are focused on sustainability, health, motivation and green environments.
Rasmus Karlander is part of the graduate school SMOVE (Sustainable movement education) which is a partnership between GIH Stockholm, Örebro University, the University of Gothenburg and Malmö University. Rasmus' thesis is aimed at sustainable movement in education.
Teaching
Rasmus teaches didactics in health and friluftsliv for future physical education teachers.
