About Niloofar Nickaeen
Niloofar Nickaeen obtained her PH.D in Electrical engineering with a focus on systems biology from Isfahan University of Technology (IUT) (Iran, 2020). There, she integrated mathematical modeling with the knowledge on the immune system to study dynamics governing macrophage polarization. She is currently a post doctoral researcher working on the X-HiDE project in the Inflammatory Response and Infection Susceptibility Centre (iRiSC), Örebro University. She is mainly involved in developing mathematical models for inflammatory systems.
