About Nikie de Leeuw
I am a PhD candidate in Political Science, writing my dissertation on whether feminine/masculine culture affects political opinion. My dissertation takes a comparative perspective, and I am interested in comparing groups both within and between countries.
My research has an interdisciplinary focus, aiming to understand political opinion and political behaviour by applying theories from political science, gender studies, sociology, and psychology.
My teaching responsibilities centers around how traditional areas of political science, such as representation, opinion, and leadership, can be analyzed from a gender perspective. I also teach quantitative methods.
I have a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Political Science from University of Gothenburg.
