About Markus Klinton

Markus Klinton works as deputy head of department for Communication and collaboration support and assists the head of department in managing and developing the department's operations. The role includes responsibilities for:

• coordination of the university's relations and strategic partnerships within the collaboration area
• personnel responsibility for the employees who operate within the university's collaboration platforms
• support for university management and management staff regarding competitive analysis, planning and reporting
• acting head of department in the absence of the head of department 

Markus has a background as a teacher and doctoral student at the School of Economics, Örebro University. He received his doctorate in 2014 with a thesis in business adminstration, in which he studied the labor market's organization of childbearing and paid work and what consequences it has for the individual. After his dissertation, his research has focused on entrepreneurship in higher education. Markus regularly teaches leadership at the School of Economics.
