About Malin Tinjan

Malin Tinjan works as a digitalization developer at the same time as she researches the digitalization of the public sector.

Malin Tinjan's mission as a digitalization developer is to coordinate the strategic work and create the conditions for students, researchers, collaboration partners and employees to benefit from digitalization and contribute to the university's digital transformation. She works between business and IT and acts as a coordinator and catalyst for business development with the support of digital technologies.

Malin's work includes developing and introducing steering documents, models and tools that aim to take advantage of the opportunities of digitalization, to drive change in multi-stakeholder collaboration, to support and develop the digital skills of managers and employees, and to contribute to the realization and evaluation of benefits.

Malin is also an executive doctoral student at the University of Gothenburg and the School of Digital Government, which focuses on digitalization in the public sector. Within the framework of her research, Malin studies how the public sector governs and changes to create conditions for digitalization.
