About Malin Karlberg Traav

Malin Karlberg Traav is a registered nurse and a PhD in Medical Sciences with a specialization in Healthcare Sciences. She completed her PhD studies in 2020 with the thesis Evidence-based nursing – reflections from different perspectives.

Malin teaches at undergraduate and post-graduate level within nursing.

The area of research within the PhD-project covers evidence-based nursing from the perspectives of leadership, work climate, research utilization and the use of theory in clinical context. Malin is also involved in an international project; the objectives of this study are to explore the education and training needs of critical care nurses regarding prone positioning and to investigate the conditions for effective implementation in a critical care facility.
