About Malin Ågren
Malin Ågren is a Doctoral Student within Media and Communication Studies. Her research field is strategic communication. Malin holds a Bachelor of Arts in Media and Communication Studies from Örebro University (2018) and a Master of Science in Information Management from University of Borås (2019). She also holds a Bachelor of Arts in French from Lund University (2009).
Research
Malin studies strategic communication in public sector organisations. More specifically, her research is centered around strategic communication in connection to preparedness, legitimacy and discourse.
Teaching
Malin is teaching in Media and Communication Studies.
Collaboration and assignment
Malin is participating in the DURCOM-project, which studies risk and preparedness communication in the digital urban society. The project is funded by The Swedish Civil Contingencies Agency (MSB).
