About Gitta Harder

Gitta Harder is an academic liaison librarian at Örebro University Library’s Division of Learning and Subject Support and is located at the Main Library, Campus Örebro.

Teaching and tutoring: Students

As academic liaison librarian, Gitta promotes students’ information competence and helps them to find and evaluate scholarly resources through teaching and tutoring sessions.

Gitta is the contact person for the following subjects:

• Business Administration
• Economics
• Statistics
• Informatics
• Natural Sciences
• Mathematics
• Technology
• Law
• English

Gitta also guides students in using Zotero and EndNote reference management software.

Teaching and tutoring: PhD students and researchers

Gitta teaches information retrieval to PhD students and researchers and offers support and guidance in doing systematic literature reviews. She is the contact person for the subjects listed above.

Gitta is one of the administrators of the Information retrieval course for researchers and phd-students. She also is one of the teachers in that course.

Other duties

Gitta is tutor for students in Library and Information Sciences, who are doing their trainee period at Örebro University Library.

She works att the main library's reference desk, and answers question in the library chatt.

She is also one of the librarians tutoring Information Retrieval and the referenceprogram Zotero at the Lyktan Study Support Centre's drop in.
