About Dana:

Dana is a registered physiotherapist employed by Region Värmland, where she works in a surgical department. She divides her time between clinical work (50%) and research as a doctoral student (50%).

Research:

Dana's research interests revolve around rehabilitation in the area of ​​stroke, with a focus on innovative methods to improve recovery and quality of life for patients. Her doctoral project explores the use of immersive virtual reality (VR) as a tool for stroke rehabilitation. The study includes both clinical evaluations and investigations of how the technology affects body functions, activities and participation in everyday life. She also highlights the experiences of physiotherapists, physiotherapy students and patients of using new technology in rehabilitation.
