About Christian Lundahl

Christian Lundahl (b. 1972) is Professor of Education at Örebro University. Lundahl is specialized in the history of assessments, evaluation and of Swedish educational research. Lundahl is presently involved in research projects concerning the production and internationalization of data in education systems. He leads an international research project about the history of comparative education financed by the Swedish Science council (Vetenskapsrådet), called The Disembedded Laboratory – Torsten Husén and the Internationalisation of Educational Research for Policy. He is also part of a project studying the effects of grading on students learning in the Swedish school system. Christian Lundahl has work as a consultant to the National agency of education and the National agency for school inspection in several issues, and presently leads an evaluation of the Swedish national test. Lundahl recently also developed (together with The National agency for education and former collogues from Karlstad university) the first Swedish MOOC (Massive Open Online Course) for further education of teachers.
