About Andrey Kiselev

I am a Senior Lecturer at the Center for Applied Autonomous Sensor Systems (AASS) at Örebro University. I received an Engineering degree in Computer Systems in 2004 from Moscow Institute of Electronic Technology (Russia) and a PhD degree in Informatics in 2011 from Kyoto University (Japan) on the topic of Human-Agent Interactions.

Part of my role at Örebro University is focus on developing external collaborations with other research institutions, industry, and public sector within technology and education.

My research interests cover a wide variety of fields and application domains, however, most of my research effort is dedicated to Human-Agent Interactions, Assistive Technology, Virtual Reality, and Robotic Telepresence.

I participate and lead a number of research projects, funded both nationally (KKS, Vinnova) and internationally (AAL, FP7, H2020) focusing primarily on Robotic Telepresence in Healthcare.

From the fall period 2021, I am a director of BSc program in Computer Engineering. My teaching expertize covers Software Engineering domain, starting from Object-Oriented Programming to Software Architectures and Design.
