Anders Ekman

About Anders Ekman

Anders Ekman teaches songwriting, music production, arranging, composition, music theory, ear training and musicology. He is an active composer and arranger in many genres and has written for a number of orchestras, ensembles and projects as well as performed as a musician both in Sweden and internationally.

Anders has degree in music pedagogy with a focus on music theory and a masters degree in musicology. In his masters thesis he investigated similaritites and differences between two genres where melody and harmony are of lesser importance: death metal and techno. He has also studied composition for among others Sten-Olof Hällström.

Anders is a part of the Group for publications in musical performance/composition at Musikhögskolan.
