AI Days.

Welcome to AI Days at Örebro University and the opportunity to explore and engage our collective expertise in artificial intelligence (AI). We’ll also showcase our AI lab environments, Robotlab and Visual Lab, and the exhibition “The evolution of the robots”. Exhibits and demonstrations are open to all. No registration is needed.

Language: Some parts of the tour may be conducted in Swedish or English as needed. Other parts of the tour will be conducted in English by our English-speaking researchers.

Explore advanced visualisation technology and see how AI can be used to understand complex data.

The exhibition takes you on a journey through time, showcasing robots from early mechanical machines to today’s AI-powered interactive innovations. At Örebro University, research on AI and robotics has been conducted for over 20 years, which is reflected in the robots displayed in the exhibit. Walk down memory lane and get to know our robots!

At the AI Corner, you’ll find inspiration on how to use generative AI and try out the digital assistant Copilot. The AI Corner is open to everyone, and no registration is required.

There will be people on-site to answer questions in the following areas:

  • How to get started with Copilot?
  • Applications for generative AI
  • How to write a good prompt
  • Discussions about various AI tools

The University Library will answer AI-related questions about information retrieval and academic writing:

  • AI and source criticism – can generative AI be used for information retrieval
  • Alternative ways to find information?
  • Test a beta version of new AI functionality in the search service Primo.
  • Discuss AI and academic writing.

The university's research data adviser will also be on site in the AI Corner.
