A few thoughts from our Vice-Chancellor
Örebro University has grown over the last 25 years into a forward-thinking, open and well-respected institution. And we’ve been able to do this thanks to you - our researchers, staff, students, alumni, partners and supporters.
With your help we’ve been able to punch above our weight in terms of research and educational reputation. We’ve been able to make a long-lasting and meaningful contribution to the communities we serve – locally, nationally and overseas too.
So as we celebrate our 25th anniversary, we look forward to our next 25 years – and how we can build on all we’ve achieved. How we can do more, make a greater contribution, and how your support and enthusiasm can continue to play an important role in all we do.
How together, we can approach the challenges and opportunities society experiences. Not just those we face today, but those we’ll face in the future too.
As a university we have a unique role in this task. Our entire purpose is the pursuit, application and sharing of knowledge. To work with, across and for society.
