Camilla Tilling: “It was at the School of Music everything fell into place”

She wanted to become a music teacher, just like her great role model and mentor Gunilla. Camilla Tilling had really no opera interest whatsoever. But when she and her friends at the School of Music in Örebro produced Der Bettelstudent, everything fell into place. 25 years later, Camilla Tilling has performed at all the world’s leading opera houses.
